Why are precise measurements so important?
Accurate wheelchair measurements are vital to ensuring you and your chair fit safely and comfortably within the converted vehicle. Given that, we’ve assembled a power wheelchair measuring guide to make sure we capture the right measurments for your vehicle conversion. Power Chair Measuring Guide Submission Form
Each precise measurement allows us to confidently proceed with your wheelchair conversion. This is the most important part of the process, because your fit equals your safety and comfort on the road.
(NOTE: You’ll also need to attach a picture of the person in their wheelchair at the end of the form)
This guide is to be used to determine if the client fits in the vehicle with the chair submitted. It is not to be used to determine if the driving position will be satisfactory to the client. ATC shall not be held liable for driving position issues.
